That's a neat machine. I like the ones with all the knobs and levers. I wish I had a source for a manual but I don't.
I'm not sure that one uses cams. I don't see a trap door or any thing that looks like cams would attach. I'm fairly certain that one uses the built in stitches. With the stitch width / length / and the stitch combo you'll be able to do a tremendous variety of stitches with it.
