Kat is right, but remember that something which is 2x as large in 2 directions, is really 4x as large if you are looking at the fabric requirements (sometimes more, if things "hit" wrong on fabric widths. Enlarging is a fine way to go. Some of us use a single supersized block for a baby or lap quilt.
