I too bought a whole bolt + when I started on my Magic Vine for my bedroom. I wanted drapes and pillowshams to match. There was only 14 yds on a bolt, so it was not as much as it sounds. I have also bought the muslin bolts when Joann has it on sale. Use them for foundations and backings.
