Gayle, That is a GREAT road block to hit, I know when my husband came home from Iraq it seamed like I didn't sew for months...lol wasn't really that long but I know I didn't sew for the first week (he had two weeks off when he came home). He played golf a few times during week two so thats when I would sew! Have fun while the kids are home!
for those that sugested asking the neighbor, these people that live around me probably don't even know what one is used for. I might get a curling iron handed to me. LOL
Lisanne, lol that wasn't the smartest thing for me to do was it? That is NOT something I would normally do, but I knew the stupid thing wasn't hot because 1) it wasn't doing the job and 2) when I picked it up and got my hand close I didn't feel any heat coming off of it! Under normal working conditions I would not have touched a HOT iron. lol
Oh well life goes on I have to run to the store later for milk anyway, that and I only have oh well a few things I have around here to finish up. I actually sat down and started quilting on a quilt for my husbands grandma it is almost done, THANK GOODNESS I hate the fabric/pattern. That is the main reason it didn't get finished before now! oh well at least now it will be done and I don't have to look at the stupid thing sitting on my dresser any longer.
Well Liam is done eating so back to sewing I go!
