what a nice looking machine sharon. the 101 that was for selll on cl in my area didn't look so appealing. what is the harp (throat) space on your 101? it looks like there is plenty of room to manuver a large quilt.

Harp space is approx 8 inches long by 6 inches high. The harp size on my Elna 7300 is approx 9 inches by 5 inches. Not much difference. The 101 actually has approx 3 square inches on harp space. Go figure, the Elna is a Quilting Pro Queen. I am finishing putting borders on a quilt top today and the 101 will be the machine I will use to FMQ, after some practice of course.
