We don't dare put a doggie door in, our five pounder will chase anything. So far she raised heck out the window at a bear in our yard on Memorial day, had to go to the vet after treeing a skunk because I couldn't get two of the quills out of his muzzle, I did manage to remove the other 8. I told my dh that from now on, he only goes out on a leash. It cost 140.00 to remove those two quills and she was pretty lucky because they were really small quills about an inch long(maybe she found the baby but the one up the tree was a BIG one, I have the picture). I live in fear of her finding a skunk. The only things she is afraid of have to do with sound; fireworks, dh's cellphone, timers and thunder terrify her.
