I bet when you get your Pfaff fixed you"ll be in machine heaven for awhile. I love my 1222E and I picked up a barely used Pfaff Tipmatic 6120 off of CL for a steal. If it had been used for a complete quilt I would be shocked. I have seen more lint in demo machines. I bought a straight Stitch plate for it for piecing since I can't find one for the 1222E. I got a top done in less than a week. I actually have 2 tops ready/waiting to be quilted. A good working machine makes all the difference in the world. Take the 1229 in and have him work his magic, you'll be glad you did.
