Oh, I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one! I just don't
do heat & thought when I moved to WI (from FL!) that I wouldn't ever have to worry about it. Guess again! Anymore we get the worst of both worlds... wind chill advisories in the winter & heat advisories in the summer. It's so hot here that even our weeds are wilting!
To keep cool? Well "cool" being a relative thing... lots of cold Dr. Pepper, no cooking in the house, the A/C on full blast (tho it quit last week & that was a
long 24 hours), all the ceiling fans in the house going like gang busters, cool baths. I have absolutely no energy -- this heat just saps it. So I've just been a lump... watching lots of TV (my step-daughter is visiting for the week so that's fine with her... LOL!), reading, goofing around on the 'puter, just marking time till this breaks.
