I love the whole process, even hand sewing the binding. I just love the fact that I can do the whole quilt from start to finish myself and then I feel that it's truly mine. Have a friend who loves to piece but not quilt. She keeps wanting to trade me - she'll piece for me if I quilt for her. She does great work (a better piecer than I am) but then I wouldn't feel like it was "my quilt".
