I love the entire process up to the point when I have to pay my LAQer (lol). I love touching the different fabrics during fabric selection and the satisfaction when the idea I have in my mind becomes something real and tangible. Cutting the pieces, seeing the design take shape and sewing it together are fun! I don't FMQ because I have hand problems and can't feed the sandwich evenly, but I do enjoy stitching the binding and label by hand. My very favorite part of every quilting project is giving it to someone and experiencing the joy of sharing what I've created.
