We live in the Mojave (California) desert, so we're used to this heat. It is supposed to be 107 today and 110 by Wednesday. Then it will stay above 100 probably through September. By the first of October you are wondering if it will EVER get cool again. Luckily we have swamp cooling so it adds moisture along with the cool air. However, the swamp cooler only cools it down 20% or so. I also have refrigeration in my house, but the cost is prohibitive. Right now it is getting down to 70 degrees by about 5:00 am.
