I hand pieced my grandmother's flower garden, so did not need any paper. Used an Ardco template to cut my hexagons from strips. I like the Ardco templates because they are accurate, made of metal, and have a non-slip surface underneath. Still, it would have been nice to have that Mercury template on hand. Next time I want to make large hexagons that show off some of my Asian fabrics.
