I found the company's initial announcement of the template in 2005 and sent an email to that address asking if the template is still available. Doubtful, though. It looks like *such* a great template too!

I have some plastic templates and also get the paper ones from paper pieces I've got so many different sizes and themes around.Lately its civil war repros i get the "flowers"put together but so far havent attached them to anything.You can order plastic templates from quilt patties.

when doing grandmother's flower garden blocks---or any other English Paper Piecing block you baste your fabric over the paper template- purchasing a plexaglass template will give you a great template to use to cut your fabrics- but you still need the paper pieces to construct the blocks.

I hand pieced my grandmother's flower garden, so did not need any paper. Used an Ardco template to cut my hexagons from strips. I like the Ardco templates because they are accurate, made of metal, and have a non-slip surface underneath. Still, it would have been nice to have that Mercury template on hand. Next time I want to make large hexagons that show off some of my Asian fabrics.
