Default Great Customer Service

First I would like to say a big thank you to the board members who recommended Quiltshops.com I have been able to finish a couple of quilts that I had been short on fabric. Recently I needed fabric to match a panel that I wanted to use for a 70th Birthday Quilt and after spending hours in Adelaide quilt shops, couldn't find anything to match so decided to try quiltshops.com. Bad idea(good for the shops I bought from), ordered the fabric I needed but also ordered other beautiful fabrics to fill the Flat Rate Envelope. During one of my searches I found a Henry Glass Collection by Shelly Comiskey called "Down Under", being a childrens print featuring Australian animals and being a first time Grandmum had to have it. Some of the fabrics in the collection I could only get from one on-line shop and they stated they "currently do not do international shipping". I sent an email asking if this situation had changed or were they willing to make an exception, and I received a lovely reply from a lady named Elaine saying she would investigate International Postage and get back to me. We have had a few emails back and forth and I am happy to say that I have now received my fabric from "Fabric406" in Park City, MT, with a card from Elaine saying "Thank you for being my first International Customer". We all to often hear the bad experiences people have, so it is nice to know that there are people like Elaine who understand the meaning of Customer Service and then go above and beyond.

I would also like to mention Marcia at "Rossville Quilts" in Rossville, IN for her Customer Service and attention to the little things that can make all the difference especially when you are half a world away and approx. 16 hours difference in time.
