That's corrrect. I'd still like to know if the label position was specified in the county fair entry rules. It makes a big difference in this instance.
This is from the Nebraska State Fair entry rules for quilts. I can't imagine that it would be any different at the county fair level.
"All quilts must have a fabric label with the name and address of the maker(s) attached to the back lower left corner of the quilt. Cover the quilt maker(s) name with a second piece of fabric wherever it appears on the quilt."
