Rules are part of life ... because someone asks you about the rules, does not make them into Quilt Police.
BTW Guilds and Guild Shows are notorious for having rules!!!!!!
And often OCD rules that go overboard ........... of course, JIMHO!
And I'll echo ... if you don't ask what the rules/guidelines are, please do not assume there were none, nor that a specific rule was not spelled out.
