I think I must be missing something with this ipad/ereader/tablet thing but I don't know what it is. Bringing the device to the LQS?
If I get one will it talk to my PC?
Appreciate your thoughts on this folks....
thanks
I have a desktop (which will be dismantled and given away), a laptop, an iPad and an iPhone. The difference between an iPad and a laptop is in the ease of carrying them around. I always have my iPad with me so I can read a book while waiting at dr or getting infusion treatments - I can use the Kindle app, the Nook app, the Google app to read books. Or do anything else that I do on my laptop. Twitter, Facebook, newspapers, etc.

In fact I hardly every sue my laptop - that might be going soon too!

Oh and it is easy to prop the iPad up next to my sewing maching or cutting board and following a pattern. No more paper!
