Take a generic shopping bag - these are still available for $1 - and glue a Christmas motif over the commercial logo. You can make shopping bags out of reclaimed fabric and then decorate as you see fit----------and they wear like iron. You can wash them over and over and over. The $1 store bags aren't worth bringing home, IMO! They can and will split if a sharp cornered item is put in them. They can not be washed. And they simply do not wear well. (made a dozen this week!)
