Your Snappy bags sound good but, could you point me in the right direction to get a pattern please.

I have got to quit reading these boards. I now have 4 tissue holders don, pieces for 25 tissue holders cut, about 3 dozen smaller pieces cut to match with whatever I decide use fro the linings. I don't NEED 100 tissue holders, but give me another good morning and I'll have that many on the sewing table.

They are as cute as all get out, easy and probably what my club will get in each member's Christmas card!

I just posted this link on links and resources. Looks like a quick and easy way to use bright and colorful scraps. Directions called for clear plastic ball ornaments - but I am going to try and give a new life to some of my less than pretty glass ornaments. Just takes a little Modge Podge, a smallish craft paint brush, small 1" or so scrap fabrics, and a little time to make. I think they would make darling items for gifts, bazaars, your own use on a tree or gift ties. They suggest/show using ribbon ties to hang, but regular ornament hangers would work too, and just tie a small ribbon bow at the hanger to glam it up a little.

You can make shopping bags out of reclaimed fabric and then decorate as you see fit----------and they wear like iron. You can wash them over and over and over. The $1 store bags aren't worth bringing home, IMO! They can and will split if a sharp cornered item is put in them. They can not be washed. And they simply do not wear well. (made a dozen this week!)
