We are directly on the north shore of Long Island - 70 miles from NYC. Thank God we had all the trees around the house that didn't come down with Irene removed! We are 35 feet up from the harbor, so no worry about flooding, but the winds could bring some trees down from the woods near the house. And of course we will probably loose power.
