Hi nygal, yes I am also on the east coast, live in south eastern Pa, but only 25 miles from the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. It is very scary and we have a lot of big old trees on our property. About 10 years ago during hurricane Floyd one of those trees landed on our house, took out the master bedroom and bath. Husband and I had just gotten out of the bed when a huge tree fell and came through the roof and landed on the bed. Every time the wind blows now I am terrified. We have been advised to expect heavy flooding from 8-10 inches of rain and constant winds of 40 mph with gusts of 65 mph. I have been a nervous wreck all day and probably will be until this is over. We have prepared as much as we can and are as ready as we can be. Wishing everyone in the east good luck and keeping all in our prayers.
