The last thing Vermont expects to have is a hurricane. Winter snow, yes, hurricane, no, but hurricane Irene taught us last year to be prepared for the unexpected. Now the evening news points out that Sandy is taking the same path that Irene did, so it's time to hunker down. At least we won't have to shovel snow! Sure wish I had accepted my grandmother's treadle when it was being given away!
