Our HCE group have made various sizes for all the funeral homes and nursing homes in the county, even a patriotic one for the VA home. We make adult, juvenile, and baby sizes. the local funeral home asked us to make them narrower so that when they push the gurney into the hearse it doesn't catch on the wheels. Since we started, many of our members have mentioned them with the passing of family members. We had a hospital comment that when the funeral home comes to take away a baby, they wrap it in the baby passage quilt and carry it out, so much nicer and respectful than the bags.
