DH and I decided a few years ago it was time to stop gift giving. We both have everything we need. If there is something we want, we go buy it, within reason, of course. Instead we are diverting those dollars to traveling...giving each other the 'gift of time'. I do, sometimes, re-gift things. Depends on the item and who it might be going to. I see no problem with either concept.
