I was when I walk it in the door and down to the laundry room. Want to be able to start on it's usage whenever I have the inclination to do so.
But and added note: The Wednesday before thanksgiving, I purchased a Royal Blue Quilt Back at Hancocks in Rapid.........(we were on our way to my parents for the holiday and weekend and I was using my moms' LA to finish it there) When I got to the ranch, I quickly put fabric in the washer with a "color catcher".....OMG-----The color catcher was a darker color then the fabric was......Needless to say - it was washed 4 more times. The 2nd time it was lighter, the 3rd a little darker then 2nd and the 4 and 5th time was about like the 2nd. So I will be adding specific washing instructions to the new owner at Christmas with a box of Color Catchers. The border next to the outer border is cream and then there is a few lights throughout the quilt. So Glad I Am a PRE WASHER!!
