when i have those sorts of problems i usually find that i have either had the bobbin in backward or had not run the thread through the little thingy that holds it in place before it feeds up through the plate. (i'll bet that description is about as clear as mud. LOL)

yep. that's what i said. more often than i care to admit. LOL

it might also be that you will have to fiddle with the adjustment again in order to get it back where it started.
