I like having tidy shelves, all separated by color/subject, etc. The quilt room gets messy and I periodically clean it up, between projects - and am thankful that I have the messes, because it means I'm enjoying my room. I'm still sorting my scraps and cutting down to pre determined sizes (thank you, Bonnie Hunter!!). Gradually making progress, and its amazing just how much I can use from those precut pieces and it doesn't seem my supplies are dropping. Each time I make a quilt from those precuts, I'm thankful that I had them prepared -- it makes putting a quilt top come together so quickly.
