Reminds me of my women's group meeting last fall. Brought in a couple of guys to tell us what was in, out, and valuable. They would tell how X is just horrible and pop up a picture. The one was of the grandfather's clock identical to the one in my foyer. Then there were several others things they were mocking that are in my house.
At the end, they popped up pictures of the "in" things and their house. On the one table, there was this ugly stuffed chicken, that I thought I recognized from a friend's house. She had put in out in a garage sale because it was so pathetic. There it was among their "prized" possessions as among the "coolest" things. I could not help myself...I had to ask....Didnt Brenda throw that out because it was ugly? Of course, it was their cool purchase of the year. I swear the thing had fleas!!!
