sigh...my "sewing scissors" have been used from everything from cutting linoleum tile to anything needed in the garage for his current habit: gold panning. BUT my good sewing scissors are no where in sight for him to grab, they are hidden unless I need them. Learned that one years ago when he bought me Gingher's and they disappeared. So I saved up bought the most expensive pair I could (years ago, money was tight) and hid em. Bought the orange handled scissors and kept those in sight, so he could grab the "sewing scissors"..LOL
