As far I'm concern I will give the Brother sewing Machine An A+, I got mine since 1983, a simple math, 2013, 30 years.
I never had a problem, I still got the original Manual, it's so easy to understand. I oiled Myself, but I send it out for a very
good tune up and clean the some of the lints I've missed. This machine created an Award Winning Quilts, a lot of them!
If they make the same machine (which I doubt, not much metal today, its mostly plastic) I highly recommend it. I would like to have the new one of course. Don't judge the machine by the price tag. the most important, is your comfort!
