I am a snotty rude Dr's worst nightmare.. and I LOVE it!! I've been a nurse for 38 years and I work in the operating room, I've also worked on a telephone hotline where all anyone knows about you is your voice, so it's VERY important that you deal with people in a kind, understanding manner. I've also worked in a Dr's office.. and yes, he was an Orthopaedic surgeon.. and let me tell you, if he EVER tried to dress me down in front of a patient we would have been in his office VERY quickly and the shoe would be on the other foot... OK, I'll admit there are people who do not deal with other people. well, in my opinion they should be pathologists.. Yes, you should report him to the State Board of Orthopaedic surgeons, and file a formal complaint, and with anyone else who will listen.. if he is part of a group, call the office AND send a letter of complaint to the group. They may not be aware of his attitude with patients and may just be waiting for enough"ammo" to get rid of him.. PLEASE.. help them out.. Believe me I've worked with some prima donas in my life and that crap just does NOT cut it with me. Everyone has skills and talents and we're all put on this earth to help each other through life one way or another.. they're just NOT that special!!!!! sorry for the long tirade.. this subject just gets my goat.
