I had a Rowenta, hated it. It was unreliable to say the least. There are other posts on this board regarding the fire issue with these irons. Once I read about the fire hazard, I cut the cord off of it, sent an email to Rowenta and later just pitched it. I didn't want to take a chance on burning the house down.
