I have read everything printed on Featherweights. I love them. I have a white one. Well, Singer did not make a white one, it's called celery green but looks white. White featherweight will have a red S decal, to find the red S decal still intact is special because it is not metal and usually peels off. White Featherweights came with a red thin plastic accessory case with an oil soaked pad in the bottom. White featherweight are smaller then the black ones. Most all the white featherweights were made in Scotland and were still made in the 60's. The motors are sealed, so no grease is required. Featherweight history is very interesting to read.
