We are n the suburbs of Raleigh NC, and it is a great location 2 hours to the beach and about 3 hours to the mountains. Mild winters and we have a huge garden every year. The summers can get hot and humid but after the first year you learn to adjust just do what you need to do outside early in the day. Good Luck
