I have been quilting for 24 years, made my first quilt for my son when on maternity leave. I have what I think is a large stash of fabric: 27 extra large bins of pieces, sorted into color and size. Some pieces are a yard or so and others may be up to 7 or 8 yards long, I don't think I could even estimate how many pieces there are. Then I have 5 smaller flip top bins with my fat quarters sorted into colors. There is 1 big bin full of kits, 2 bins full if scraps, and 1 smaller one with my husband's old ties waiting for more to join them in a quilt. Also an almost full roll of warm and Natural batting. I would like to reorganize the fabric into cabinets soon, the bins are bulky and it is almost impossible to see what I have. Lucky me.
