I have been a quilter/rugbraider for about 20 years, When we moved to DE 7 years ago, I sold most of my quilting stash, but kept 1 bin of fabric and 5 big bins of 100% medium weight wool for rugbraiding. Over the last 7 years, when quilting became my focus, I have 5 big bins of fabric, 4 ceiling to floor shelves of fabric, one jelly cupboard with quilt kits, fat quarters, layer cakes, charms, honey buns and jelly rolls. And one enormous bin of washed flannel (david's house future quilts), one bin of young adult fabric (quilts for kids projects), and 2-4 bins of fabric, bits, snips, scraps etc that I inherited. I do put together small quilt kit projects for teenage/mother quilters who end up in a safe from abuse place when the need arises. Alot of my projects end up there also. Oh, I joined the fabric moratorium this year, and when I fell off the cart this year, I did it big time, I ordered about 40 yards of fabric from ebay, from one seller who was selling her mother's stash.
