I have a large Rubbermaid bin of every colour and some colours have two bins ie blue/green and yellow/green. I have three dressers full of focus or wow prints and a smaller drawer unit full of fat quarters. Then I also have a bin of denim, fleece, Christmas, 30's, batiks, solids, backgrounds and a huge trunk of backings or very large pieces and three bins of good quilting scraps and three more of flannel. I have been collecting and using fabric for fifty years and I refuse to feel guilty about it. It's sorted, labelled and accessible and I use some every day. Practically everything I make is shared with family or given away. Fabric has always been my sanity saver and I think it is cheaper and safer than drugs or alcohol!
P.S. I didn't count the poly/cottons, t-shirting, and left over fabric from costume making.
