I guess that's true, if you notice it. If you're gone for the weekend, or if the trap is in a dark run in the garage where you don't check it every few minutes, maybe not so much...

I only use traps in the garage myself. Having two rat terriers living in the house makes sure the little critters don't last long if they get in.
