I have been keeping a journal. Partly because sometimes I will need to adjust the pattern to be larger, and want to know what I did and how much fabric I used for future quilts. I don't have a camera, so usually I ask people I give quilts to to please send me a picture. Most of them usually do, although it does take some time. I now try to have my daughter here when I finish a quilt and then she helps me take a picture of them. I also try to keep a small scrap of the fabrics that I used in the quilts, and if I can remember where the fabric was bought, I record that as well. I love the ideas you have all been sharing.
