I would use one because I have forgotten most of the quilts I made so very many years ago. Back then I never put labels on them. In the future someone who has one of my quilts would like to know who made it and when. Also if a quilt is lost or stolen having it documented in your quilt journal (including a picture) might help it be found and returned to orignal owner. Plus it will remind you of who you gave a quilt to and who you never gave a quilt to. There are just tons of reasons to keep a quilt journal. Thank you for reminding me to start one.
