DH's alumni group did the Alaska tour a few years ago. The first day on ship I went went exploring to see what was available & came upon a room , locked, but I could see thru the large window that it was stocked full of Bernina's, new in boxes. Learned it was a quilt tour, I couldn't join in so I had to stand in front of the window drooling every day (No, not really, and they would let me in to buy from their little store but I couldn't take any classes) But I learned that at every port the quilt group were headed to quilt stores so I would follow them. I think they thought I was a stalker. LOL I did buy a couple of unique patterns, a little fabric just because it was from Alaska but most of the fabric was the same as here, just more expensive.
I think a quilt cruise with Bonnie Hunter would be fantastic!
