It's me again. Here's one of my favorite pies.

Dear Abby's Pecan Pie

1 cup white corn syrup
3 whole eggs, beaten
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
dash of vanilla (I use 1/2 tsp)
1 heaping cup pecan pieces
pinch of salt
Mix ingredients and pour into a 9" pastry shell. Bake 45-50 min. until a knife comes out clean. Cool. Top with whipped cream or ice cream
