I can point to almost any piece in there and tell you how big the piece started before it became part of a quilt and this was that corner that results - - like making a snowball block?
Instead of just sewing the one 1/4 seam, I move over and sew a second seam 1/2 inch apart, cut down the middle and viola! I have teeny tiny, itsy bitsy little HST or 1/4 square triangles!
