I'm from the old school of "Better dead than alive" when it comes to mousies in the house (except quiltboard members)

Glue traps work because the guys get stuck, try to free themselves, and smother painlessly. Poisons are effective, but with other critters, not a great option. Sledgehammers create a lot of unintended damage. Those sonic repellents you plug in are useless.

I'd say it's time to get a cat involved!
