Soooo, I took my Quantum L-500 back to my repair guy, again.
I guess I lucked out with mine cause I've had mine for over two years now and love it. Have never had a problem with it. Perhaps like cars are sometimes you may have gotten a lemon with your sewing machine. I love my Quantum L-500.
