I'll maybe be able to start a snowflake in the next month, I think. My fireworks quilt is almost all fmq'd. I'm on the outer area now. It's been a lot of stitching on this one, both before (surface stitching) and quilting. Most of my scale has been 1/4". It's a wall hanging so the stiffness doesn't matter.
