I think chocolate always works. My favorite pie is a chocolate fudge pie. It's rich and smooth. As for cake, it would be a german chocolate cake with the butter pecan frosting and please the frosting from scratch no can stuff.
A fresh coconut cake is nice if you're not a chocolate person like me.
For me, it's not about different. It's about melt in your mouth good.
