No you are absolutely not the only slow poke. I once kept track until the last border on a hand quilted lone star, 90" square. I had almost 300 hours into it when I finally quit keeping track. The quilt pictured here:

On average every hand quilted quilt I made took me several years of on again off again quilting. One of the reasons I got a longarm is it took me so long to handquilt and I have too many quilts inside me that need to get made. If I handquilted all of them I'd only complete a few in my lifetime.
