It's definitely exactly what it should be. The colouration is correct (rich gold, no red). Do you think $250 is too much? It seems like a lot, but the treadle prices are all like this at the moment. Searching completed listings, none of them look like they're getting sold though...

A quick check to tell if the Mdl 15 you are looking at is a later Chinese or oriental clone is the finish. These later clones are really shiny with garish, gaudy, really fancy decals. Way more over the top than any of the originals or Japanese clones.
