yes I have had the same problem. I wanted fabric for a quilt that was in a new magazine I got and I started looking the next day and wasn't easily avaiable. I was told be designer that by the time the magazine comes out the fabric has been on the shelves for at least 6 months. Since they have to make the patterns so far ahead to get into the magazines... I went to manufacturer's website and went to most of the stores that they had listed for buying their fabric and finally found all of what I wanted/needed. It is fustrating.
